TCHS Outside Food & Drink Policy

TO: Parents and Guardians of Tuba City High School Students
FROM: Ms. A. Bishop, Principal
SUBJECT: No Outside Food or Drinks Allowed on Campus
Dear Parents and Guardians,
To help provide a safe, healthy, and focused learning environment, Tuba City High School will implement a No Outside Food or Drinks campus policy beginning this school year.
Students may bring a refillable water bottle; however, outside food, restaurant meals, fast food, specialty drinks, and food deliveries will not be permitted during the school day. School breakfast and lunch will continue to be available daily through our cafeteria.
This policy supports student health and safety and aligns with the goals of the Arizona Healthy Schools Act (A.R.S. § 15-242.01).
The policy is intended to:
• Promote student health and safety.
• Maintain a clean and secure campus.
• Minimize classroom disruptions.
• Encourage healthy food choices.
Parents are asked not to bring or arrange for outside food or beverages to be delivered to students during the school day unless prior arrangements have been made with the school due to a documented medical condition or special dietary need.
Thank you for your partnership and support in helping us maintain a safe, healthy, and positive learning environment for all Warrior students. We look forward to a wonderful school year!
Yours for Education,
Principal A. Bishop
